This publication has been prepared with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and "PAŞA Häyat Siğorta" Open Joint Stock Company. In 2022, Shusha formerly capital of the Karabakh Khanate, turned 270 years old. The city has gone down the history of musical culture as the "Conservatoire of the East". It is also known to readers as the birthplace of wonderful poets, writers, playwrights and, for Azerbaijanis, it is a symbol of the defeat of the enemy, the final collapse of enemy attempts to annexe Karabakh and Eatsern Zengezeur. The book contains rich text and photo facts about the ancient history, cultural life, material and cultural monuments of the city of Shusha, the destruction it suffered during the occupation and its liberation. Rare artworks of Azerbaijani artists were also included and a large number of archival data and photos were used.
